New York and Long Island Wedding Planners Present at Wedding Salon Expo
La Bella Planners and Designers of New York City and Long Island enjoyed meeting all the brides and their families at the New York City Wedding Salon Expo on Monday, April 23, 2012. This years Expo was held at The Metropolitan Pavilion in New York City on 6th Ave. and 19th Street. Our team of wedding planners and designers arrived early to set- up our table and were thrilled to find that our location was front and center. It seemed a shame to remove the lovely gold sequenced tablecloth provided by the Wedding Salon from the table, the look was fun, but we had our own look and carried it out to the end.
For our new york and long island wedding planning team, it was a fun experience (and a great networking opportunity) to set up our reception table design among other spectacular florists, terrific designers, decadent treats and gorgeous wedding gowns. Our table was a traditionally formal, with a smokey-luxurious feel. Our table was colored with a black tablecloth and steel table runners. Our flowers were designed by Joan Smith Flowers and our edible giveaway was creatively done by Sweet Treats by Doris (chocolate covered gluten free pretzels made to look like wedding rings). Many clients came by several times to enjoy Doris’ delicious treats. One of our attention grabbers, was our place card holder / napkin ring that was a vase that actually held flowers.
La Bella Planners spent the day speaking with perspective clients about our services and packages. The possibilities are endless. Our service list includes planning everything from soup-to-nutes. A highlight of the event was our raffle which the grand prize winner one our Day of Service package. The lucky winner was bride-to-be Rebekha Kennedy, a lovely NY native looking to renew her vows with a ceremony and reception this summer. We have spoken with Rebekha and are excited to help her execute the wedding of her dreams.
